LAnd-based evaluation
With the support of the SDG grants from the University of Minnesota, we are building an evaluation tool that measures the impacts of an Indigenous land and family-based curricular design or commonly known as local temas program on the health and well-being of two communities in CONAFE.
Our current project is spearheaded by a faculty team with interdisciplinary backgrounds in Learning Sciences, Social Work, Youth Studies and Indigenous Studies, Environmental and Citizen science, and methodological expertise in participatory, Indigenous design. It includes knowledge garnered from previous collaborations in summer 2022 which included disciplinary perspectives of anthropology, learning sciences, organizational leadership, and educational psychology.
